Question Another ADR Question

I have been familiarizing myself with the Dining Reservation site. This may be a silly question, but I don't see how it knows you can do the 180+10. My day to make my ADR's is on Monday and I want to make sure I am doing it correct. Does it ask for your reservation # at some point?

Thanks.

You will want to go into My Disney Experience and put in your hotel confirmation number if you haven't already linked it. I would do it ahead of Monday so you know you're all set.

When you book the ADRs the system will then know of your hotel reservation so you won't need to put that info in again while booking your meals.

On your ADR day when you go on the website select My Disney Experience from the menu. From that drop down select My Itinerary. You will see an option about making dining reservations. Just a heads up during the various steps when making the ADRs any time it shows the date and time including the confirmation page always be sure it is the date you want as sometimes the date might change to the date you are on there making the reservations and you don’t realize it and have to call to cancel to not be charged. I think a lot of us have done that once or twice because we were trying to be quick to get everything.

BTDT with booking the wrong date.

As long as you're signed into Disney on the website or using the MDE app, it will recognize you as having a Disney reservation and allow you to do the first ten days of your trip for dining. If you're there longer than 10 days, you'll either have to go back each day for the additional ADR's or wait until the 180+10 from your very last day and then book the rest.

If I only have a 5-day reservation, can I still make ADRs for 8 days out?

I have 2 reservations. One for 5 days, then 2 days away (staying with family), and then another reservation for 2 days. I'm curious if I can make ADRs for that second stay when I book them for the first stay.

I don’t think you can, sorry.

You’ll have two different 180s, one and then a second two days later, since these are as separate reservations as if you were coming back in 6-8 months.

I have 2 reservations back to back and had to do them at each 180 day mark. The website/app won't show you the next dates until it hits that mark.

Have fun planning.
