Yes, I think this is going to be my first "lanyard" year! I've always been concerned that I would catch them on something and lose them, but with so much of what you need being on the Magic Band now (our first Magic Band trip), carrying a purse or pouch just seems unnecessary. A small copy of the day's reservations should fit just fine.


oldmom, I probably won't be journaling about the trip, but I am hoping to do some watercolor sketching while I'm there. I'm not any good, but what an inspiring place to practice!

The lanyard I used this year had a strap that when fully extended was actually long enough that I could put the pouch in my pocket while still having the strap around my neck. That was the perfect scenario for me -- my phone, credit card, cash, etc. were safely secured in the lanyard pouch *and* it fit in my pocket so it wasn't hanging from my neck and flopping all over the place while I walked.
