2-17-17 Question of the Day!

There is a rumor floating around that they are considering a new form of transportation system at WDW! Have you seen this new rumor?
Evidently they are considering an aerial gondola system (cable car system) between Epcot, the Boardwalk area and Disney Studios!
What do you think about this idea?

There's no way you would get me on an aerial gondola. I have a real fear of heights and even had a panic attack on Soarin'. I think the only reason I'm able to fly on an airplane is because I NEVER look out the window. I'm sure it will be very popular, which is fine with me. More room on the bus.

Really? I did double check the date in case this is an April fool's joke, so that was my immediate reaction, but if it is true, it sounds neat....

I heard that it would go between Epcot, DHS, and a couple resorts (Pop and CBR are the two I've heard most), but not Boardwalk. I would use it if I was staying at Pop or CBR if it has stops at those resorts. We always walk between Epcot and DHS though (I really enjoy the walk; it's peaceful and gives us a few minutes to relax with no crowds) so we probably wouldn't use it just between parks. I think it's a cool idea though.

Here's an article with quite a bit of info for those who haven't heard much about this: https://www.google.com/amp/www.inqui...android-google

I'm all for more transportation options, so yay! I'd ride it, if it happened to be going where I wanted to be.

Maybe, but not totally sold on the idea. I think I'd want to see how it works out for a bit before I hop on board.

Depends on what it looks like. Would it be a closed car with ac? What plans would be in place if it completely stopped working.
I think I would wait and see how it works before I rode it.

Yes, closed car with AC. I'm not sure about plans for if it stopped working though.
