Has anyone ever had any luck adding people to the alcohol tastings once onboard after the online system has shown something as being sold-out? I know they keep some Palo reservations held back for first day bookings, not sure if they do the same for the tastings.
I was able to sign my husband and myself up for Mixology, but not anyone else in our group (they're booking window was later than ours) and my husband is signed up for the Whisky tasting, but again, wasn't able to get anyone else in.
I am hopeful for the Whisky Tasting they can accommodate 1 more person so his dad can do it too. But for Mixology I doubt we can get another 4 people added?
What have peoples past experiences been like? I kind of dislike that the tastings are no longer something you have to sign up for in person on the first day.

We boarded the Disney Dream June 29. We had pre-booked mixology and chocolate/liquor tasting--both on our "at sea" day. We had also wanted a tasting on the Nassau day and they were all booked online. We went to Guest Services around 3:00 pm on embarkation afternoon and asked about availability on Nassau day and got right in. Other mixology classes were added--two happening simultaneously at Meridian and Skyline on the at sea day.
So, don't give up! As folks board and get their excursion tickets that include times, they often cancel or re-do their plans.
