Disney “After Hours”

Has anyone ever done the “After Hours” event? A co-worker talked me into it and it looks really awesome. One of the things on my Disney bucket list is to ride Splash and Jungle Cruise at night time, sounds crazy that we’ve not yet had the opportunity to do either one, but circumstances just never aligned that way. I’m looking for anyone’s experience/ tips for how to get the most out of it.

I did it this year in March. It was pretty fun! The night we went was cold (I would assume most would be as they only do this event from Jan-March). It was definitely lower crowds. You can get into the event around 7 PM (when the park is still open), so we maximized that by getting 3x fastpasses. When the park closes they only let those with the lanyards get into the ride lines, so it clears out pretty quickly. There's also free ice cream, popcorn, soda, and water. It was surreal leaving Main Street when it was practically empty!
