I know here in Massachusetts, you can no longer have license plate frames on cars. The reasoning behind it is cops cannot see the whole plate to get info they might need and if you do have a frame and attempt to get an inspection sticker, your car will fail. It could be other states have this practice too and Disney knows it and isn't selling them much anymore.
Same here in PA. My friend just got a ticket for having a Pittsburgh Zoo Frame (he is an employee and has had said frame since he had the car - 10+ years). $142 ticket just this past week. I am guessing they are cracking down on it.

I agree. I have a frame I bought way back in the early 2000s and haven't seen one I like since. I don't have it on my car anymore though, as NC decided that frames that covered any part of the plate that you could read was illegal. (Though I've seen plenty of plates on cars since they passed that law).\\
I also don't want permanent decals on my car so only magnets. Those are few and far between too.
Have you tried Etsy? I know you can get customized Disney license plates on Etsy. They're obviously not legal license plates that you could put on your car. I'm going to get a set that say revral and use zip ties to attach them to my rented scooter. I'll then cut the ties and pack the license plates in my Owner's Locker.
I can offer a guess as to why you can’t find car magnets.
Not long after we moved to St. Louis, I was looking at a display of Cardinals stuff at Walmart.
I liked one car magnet until I read the fine print which warned that the magnet must be moved to another location every 2-3 days or it might remove the paint.
That may be why there don’t seem to be any Disney car magnets for sale.
Interesting. I have had several magnets on my cars from various places and have never had a paint problem. One of them was a WDW AP magnet. (Loved it but took it off since I haven't had an AP in a long time).
