I was 14 and a freshman and I asked my friend's cousin who had just moved to town to our high school Sadie Hawkin's dance. He was a year ahead of me and we ended up dating off and on for 3 years. He actually called me from out of the blue about a year later, after I had graduated. I had recently met DH so I finally broke it off with him for good cause I knew DH was the right guy. We've been happily married for almost 38 years.
I was 16 and it was Homecoming. It was a couple date in a group, but most of us were just friends that wanted to go to Homecoming. It was the only time we went out. I think I was home by midnight, even allowing we went to Chicago for pizza after the dance.
I think I was 15 and it was this kid that was on my bus, so I knew him. We were the same age, but in different schools. He asked me to his Homecoming- I was Super shy and nervous. His cousin drove us.(he was just a few years older and I thought he was nice looking!) I think I got home by 11pm. I took this same guy to my Junior Prom.
