All Star Movies-Tips?

Dd15 and I are taking a quick trip to Disney and staying at Movies. We have never been there before but would love tips or ideas. Any building or room requests we should consider?

Thanks!!!

We’ve been several times. Our favorite section for convenience is the Toy Story area, but 101 Dalmatians is also pretty close to amenities, including buses.

It is currently undergoing renovation, so you might give them a call to check on which areas might be least impacted by the refurb.

ASMo is really cute. We like it a lot.

If you want to be close to buses and food, book a preferred room. We stayed in Dalmatians and found it convenient to both pools, the food court and buses. It is also a short walk over to Music. You can use all six pools and three food courts at the All Stars when you stay at one. Take a walk around and look at the big icons at the three resorts. The drum set and cowboy boots in Music are particularly fun for photos.

As Joelsmom said, the resort is being renovated, so if you want an updated room, be sure to request that.

If you go for a standard room instead of prefered, the Mighty Duck buildings have the quiet pool in between them and it should have the laundry room too. The buildings are also really close to the AS Music Food Court, main pool and bus stops.

We actually stayed in Mighty Ducks once for a fall break trip, and we really enjoyed that location, although it was standard, not preferred. I tend to book preferred, but I was economizing that trip, and we got really lucky with a corner room right at the front of the resort.

We stayed at Movies last September....we had booked standard but was given a preferred room at check-in. Our room was in the Dalmations section and was really close to the main pool and food court and transportation. We loved it there.
