Watching 4th of July Fireworks from The Plaza Restaurant
I have ADR's on 7/4 at 9:05 pm for my daughter and I at The Plaza Restaurant. The fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 pm. We've never dined here before so I was wondering if there was outdoor seating or if you are able to view the fireworks from inside the restaurant.
We love the Plaza and think you made a great choice. While the food and service are great, it is does not offer a great view for all guests.
Portions of the show can be visible from portions of the restaurant. But it is not very promising and very much depends on where your table is located. In addition, the crowds of people walking or viewing outside can greatly reduce visibility.
There are outdoor tables in front of the Plaza; however, those are not part of restaurant seating. Those are “up for grabs” and first come first serve. In our experience, those appear to be prime free viewing spots and are usually claimed early by patient lovers of the Fireworks show.:
You may try for an earlier or later Reservation....or try checking in early and tell the restaurant host/hostess that you would love to view the fireworks show. They may be able to accomodate you if you are willing to wait for a table to open up. However, I am sure lots of guests have the same desire and it may not be possible.
Hope it works out for you!!! Either way, enjoy the food and save room for ice cream!!

Welcome to the boards!! I agree with the above poster that you will probably not have a very good view of the fireworks from the restaurant. As mentioned you might get a window seat, but there aren't a whole lot of those. I suspect that the view from them still wouldn't be particularly good because of people standing and walking outside the restaurant.
I agree with others that you likely won’t be able to see much.
You sure won’t be able to see any of the Castle projections which I bet are stunning for the Fourth. I was just blown away by how gorgeous those were on the Castle for the Halloween party. I expect they’ll be unbelievable on July 4th.
Haven’t ever been then. I have, however, seen people start lining Main Street 5-6 hours before the first Christmas party parade of the night. I suspect people will start staking out viewing spots in front of the Castle around 2:00-3:00 if not earlier.
If seeing the fireworks is what you really, really want to do (and who wouldn’t then? ), a grab-and-go dinner would be the better plan, IMO.
