I have toured DC on multiple occasions. I love the Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial the best. Another favorite is Mount Vernon which technically is outside DC proper. My favorite visit of all time was my eighth grade class trip despite it being many many moons ago. There was something about that extended trip and seeing the city all a bloom with the cherry blossoms.
I've been several times.
I really liked the Spy Museum.
I like the Washington Monument, and really want to be able to walk back down it....it's a rare thing to be able to do that. Looking at the city from up there is so neat.
I visit every day! I actually work on Pennsylvania Ave NW and have for over 20 years.
But when I do come downtown for anything other than work, my favorite thing(s) to visit is the Smithsonian....any of them, all of them.
