Here is my Bucket List of Resort Stays. Not sure if I have a particular order
  1. Polynesian (for sure at top of the list)
  2. Contemporary Tower
  3. Port Orleans FQ
  4. maybe Caribbean Beach
  5. not sure about Wilderness Lodge

We have stayed at a lot of Deluxe resorts already

Fun thing to think about

The top of my bucket list is an Adults Only trip

If we didn’t both hate the buses so much, I’d say a Treehouse villa at Saratoga Springs. Those look like such fun with all the comfort of a room.

It’s just much easier to be at a monorail resort for what we like to do most.

So, my only actual bucket list wish is a night in the Castle Suite, or more realistically, a night in the Walt Disney Suite at the GF. It has reproductions of family photographs and memorabilia that would make me feel as though I were a guest of Walt’s family. I think that would be a lovely stay.

I completed a bucket list for the MK resorts in June. I have stayed at GF, Poly, WL, and then CR (not tower but that is on the list). If FW is included as an MK resort then I need to stay there.

I did stay at AKL in savanna view and it was AMAZING!!!! If you're on the fence about staying there or it is on your list, DO IT!!

My next bucket list are the Epcot resorts:

Yacht Club - staying November 2018
Beach Club
Boardwalk

Of the ones I want to stay at I have left. Not in order.

1. Swan
2. Yacht Club
3. Contemporary

These are just the regular resorts and not DVC properties. I may do a Studio one day in one of these and probably through one of the rental sites like David's as some of the deals are good. Much more affordable than through Disney.

Yes, definitely much more affordable than going through Disney. Renting points for a studio can cost about the same as a moderate resort.

I know through David's, the cost per point is less than some of the others but you do have to pay in full once you make the reservation. Just protect yourself with something like this. Be certain on your dates and take out trip insurance for this purchase to cover yourself, in case you have to cancel.

I did this once, but not through David's. The company I used lets you make payments until a certain date (I don't remember how many days before the trip). But you're right about the dates. Once you've booked, you can't cancel without losing your money, unless you have insurance. So you have to be super duper sure about the dates of the trip.
