As a nurse are you not required to have a flu shot? Up here most health care facilities require one not just becuase their employees are at high risk but for the health of the patients.
If I worked in a patient care capacity, yes - although there are some exceptions. However, I work in an insurance office. I've had it before, when I worked in hospital. I've always accepted it when it's been offered by the company, as I know how miserable it can make people.

We have had a few cases in school over the last few weeks - I dodged the bullet, thankfully, and I did have my flu shot.
My DH is having some significant health issues, and is on heavy duty immunosuppresants to see if that has an impact, so I cannot bring home any of the nasty germies. Luckily - today is the first day of summer vacation!!! Good bye germ factory.
