Table Service Desserts

So I'm getting away from eating full entrees and going more toward an app and dessert. I rarely get to eat dessert because if I get an entree I'm too stuffed, so I haven't had many WDW desserts.

Please tell me your favorite or any that stand out to you, to add to my list.

The app and dessert woman who was just exulting over having gotten an ADR for Queen Victoria’s Room’s ten courses at Victoria & Albert’s?

I strongly suggest skipping lunch that day because you will absolutely waddle out of that place! That’s what I usually do to have room. And you do not want to have to pass on the V&A’s desserts! The 10-course has two.

Okay, fave desserts of mine.

The gluten-free raspberry-lemon cream puff at BOG lunch. Fabulous lemon curd filling and deliciously fresh raspberries. Pastry so good you’d never think it’s g-f. Drew loves The Master’s Cupcake, moist chocolate cake with a piped mound of grey stuff and pearl dragees.

Key lime pie at Citricos, more tart than sweet. Spot on flavor.

Any at Chefs de France or Monsieur Paul. What the French do with desserts is positively sinful. I especially liked the meringue basket filled with strawberry sorbet and fresh berries at Chefs.

Nearly forgot the baklava at Restaurant Marrakesh. Among the best I’ve ever eaten. Probably same as that at Spice Road Table.

Horrors! I could go on and on, there are so many. I’ll just shuddup before drooling on self.

What is WRONG with me? How could I have left Rose & Crown’s sticky toffee pudding off the list?

That stuff is so good I wish I could eat nothing but that all the time I’m at WDW.

I really like bread pudding and WDW is about the only place I get it. My all time favorite is the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding at Ohana. You can't do just appetizers and desert at Ohana but someone on here said you can get the desert outside of there at a counter service or bar. The other bread pudding I really like is at House of Blues in DS.

HaHaaa - no I had not quite made that connection how clever of you to notice ... so ... the thing is if you put it in front of me, I'm gonna eat it! The problem comes with the oversized portions of most entrees these days. If I order it, I end up eating the whole thing, and then I'm too stuffed for dessert. This makes me sad because I adore dessert, and often see things on the menu that I wish I could fit in. So, my goal is apps and desserts more often. And when I've done that in the past, I've been plenty satisfied. I cannot even split a dessert because DH rarely eats them.

My game plan for V&A day - I'll wake at a Hampton Inn and have their continental breakfast. Probably yogurt and fruit. Then hope to hold out until dinner. I'll have a small snack in the afternoon but only if I feel I really need it. I plan to arrive at V&A's in starvation mode

*** loving all the dessert ideas Keep 'em coming!

Admittedly, the portions in QVR are rather small.

I note a woman who shares my own “sit & set” philosophy.

I sit at the table; server sets food in front of me, and then better stay outta my way till I’m clearly ready for more. To attempt to intervene in my quest to all but lick the plate, bowl, etc. is folly of the most dangerous sort. ::::giggling::::
