Monday it was 93, feels like 108 in Whitefield - which is unheard of!
Hit the mid-90s numbers every day this week, and projected to continue through Thursday.
Supposed to break on Friday, with temps topping out in the upper 70s.
We normally don't get above the mid 80s, and temps usually drop down into the 40s, or low 50s at night all summer long, so very few people have air conditioning.
We did break down a few years ago, and bought a portable unit for John when he was working nights. It's been running non-stop this week in the living room. We tried to get a second unit for the bedroom, but they are impossible to find, so we have been sleeping in the living room.
Last night (July 3rd) it finally dropped to the low 60s, and the humidity was less, so we were able to sleep in our room with a fan, but still supposed to get to the mid 90s today and tomorrow.
