Smile Where to have Breakfast on Departure Day?

So I am having a tough decision as to where do I want to go for Breakfast on the day I leave to go back home. I don't get picked up until 1pm.

I had originally had Trail's End scheduled but I have cancelled it. I don't want a buffet... one plate would be better.

I have been overlooking menus- but unsure about the Wave at CT, but was thinking of the GF Cafe....I just don't want to travel too much. I am coming from All Star Music.

And I leave this Friday...

What would you suggest?

My first choice would be Boma at Animal Kingdom, but since you don’t want a buffet, my second choice would be Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.

However, I have not tried The Wave, and the sweet potato pancakes do sound mighty tasty. The advantage to going to the Contemporary is that you can take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and walk over.

Happy deciding!

My vote is for The Wave. They have both menu al la carte as well as a buffet We enjoyed the mimosas!
You can enjoy the shops at The Contemporary and take a ride on the monorail before you leave the magic!
Here's our story of enjoying breakfast: http://toddjodybrent.blogspot.com/20...ry-resort.html

Have a great trip!

We had a great brunch (as that's really what they serve) at the Grand Floridian Café on our last trip, so that gets my vote too.

Mmmmmm...What did you have, Cheryl?

I hesitated to suggest GF Cafe, which we used to rave about, because we had a disappointing light lunch there last year. Drew said his French onion soup was mediocre, and my salad was a combination that didn’t work well.

Here's another idea. Instead of a restaurant, we have stopped at one of the Values or Moderates and eaten breakfast in their food court before we left WDW. Or we also stopped at Disney Springs and got food at Wolfgang Puck Express in the marketplace.

I don’t suppose you could get Ohana breakfast? That would be a lovely way to end your trip. If not that, I might go for Kona Cafe. Really, you probably wouldn’t be disappointed with any of your thoughts, but if I could get Ohana, I’d do that.

I had the lobster benedict, which was very nice.

Excellent. That’s what I was considering should we decide to go there again.

Thanks for the info.

Well..... I actually ate breakfast at The Wave!

Thank you for the suggestion, Toddjodybrent!

Delicious.... I did not do the buffet, but ordered off the menu. I had 2 poached eggs, potatoes, and bacon. Plus I had an English muffin and got a short stack of the sweet potato pancakes! They were the most Delicious!

I will Definitely go back and just get the pancakes..... YUM!

It sounds like a delightful meal. The sweet potato pancakes do sound like something I would enjoy. Thanks for reporting back, Kate.

I did try the honey pecan butter, but very little. Since I have gotten older, my body tends to react to nuts. I love pecans, but I didn't know what else was in it, so I didn't want to chance it. I am not allergic to pecans.

But the regular butter was just as good and had NO maple syrup too, since one of the servers told me that I wouldn't need it...lol
