Best Bathroom Conversation

The conversation started when I tucked the thick napkin/paper towel from The Contemporary bathroom under my chin before eating dinner's soup. The memory of the husband putting a stack into his backpack from the first floor bathroom near The Wave followed by the smile of the security guard checking his bag before boarding the monorail is what prompted the three of us to talk about best bathrooms.

Obviously, The Contemporary bathrooms reigned supreme of the monorail resorts. We noted that the Poly's 2nd floor bathrooms, near Ohana's are much smaller than their counterparts downstairs near Captain Cooks, which is opposite from the Grand Floridan with the bathrooms at the exit of 1900 Park Fair having three stalls for women, while the bathroom upstairs near Citricos is larger.

As for resorts, the location and size of the restrooms at Pop and Art of Animation are appreciated, while the distance to the restrooms from the bus stop at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Beach Club seem daunting.

Riverside, Coronado, and French Quarter have lovely restroom tucked right near the registration area, which is helpful. There are even more restrooms near the food courts at Riverside and Coronado.

Wilderness Lodge got it right, too, with the bathroom near the front door--and near Whispering Canyon, with another restroom not too far away.

I know articles have been written about Disney bathrooms. I just thought it funny that our family had enough Disney experience to chime in with opinions on this particular subject!

P.S. My favorite--the restroom to the right of the American Adventure Pavilion in EPCOT--great wall sconces!

I actually liked the Beach Club ones, a little walk but not too far.

I never really thought about the overall of bathrooms.....but I like your thoughts. I will remember to think about this with the next trip....

Many Disney bathrooms are very well themed! I love the bathrooms at Teppan Edo!

The one that sticks out in my mind right now is the ones on board on Disney Cruise Ship Fantasy. The ones with the mosaic tiles that picture the Flamingo dancer in the Ladies room and the Bull Fighter in the Men's. Pretty much a work of art!

My favorite bathrooms are the ones on the Disney Fantasy near the adult clubs area. Just AMAZING tile mosaics of Spanish Dancers.

Funny. We've discussed the park restrooms before but not the resort. I think it's mostly because if we are at a resort, we use the bathroom in our room and rarely use the common ones.
