Our 20th anniversary is this year in July. We are having family flying in and I was trying to come up with the perfect Disney day. I had originally wanted to get married in Disney (the Poly beach specifically), but my mom told me she would not attend if we did. While it turned out for the best that it was not at Disney, I vowed that on my 20th, I would do something at Disney. I just didn't think that I'd end up living here by then.
Originally, I was thinking of spending the day at the MK with a fireworks dessert party. DH saw the cost of that and, yeah, no. Private party huts at the waterparks? No. Dinner at O'hana with fireworks viewing on the beach. Yes. But I didn't book in time and the only slot for dinner was after 9pm. With a large party 12+, it would be hard to get a seating earlier. Not ideal, but workable. Then I saw a post on the Grand1 fireworks cruise. DH was really excited about it and said go for it. So our plans are now dinner off site and a dessert -Happily Ever After -fireworks cruise. I am now SO excited and know it's a once in a lifetime experience. Now I have to contact Disney private dining and arrange dessert.
I'm living the dream 20 minutes from Disney! Next trip...tomorrow. Follow me on instagram at ShirtsByShell
