Can our DS use Magical Express arriving after us?

Hi all,
It looks like our son will be able to join us on our trip in September. Yay! But, we arrive September 3rd, and he won’t be able to make it until at least the 5th. We are using DME, not renting a car this trip.

It looks like this is okay , and he can use it when he arrives, but has anyone here tried it?

Enjoying some very Disney years since 2014 thanks to dd, cast member with great perks!

As long as your son is listed on the reservation it's fine.

Yes, that should be fine if he’s on the reservation. My cousin is arriving the day after we check in and she wants to use DME as well. She’s staying with us and is on the reservation, so it should be smooth sailing (and a new experience for her since she hasn’t been at WDW for close to 20 years!).

Yes. My adult son and brother shared a room and reservation. They even arrived on different days from different cities and had no trouble both using DME. My brother changed his departure time and they changed my sons too but he had no problem getting added to the bus back to MCO when we realized what had happened,
