Changed flight time messes with our ADR - need advice
The airline moved our return flight home time up by an hour and a half. I now have Chef Mickeys (our traditional last main meal) booked 2.5 hours before our flight leaves. Since I can't modify our ADR at this time (no availability), any thoughts on what would happen if we would show up early? (Do you think they could seat us early? )
I'm not sure when the airline changed our flight time, but I was never notified. It would have been nice if they said something, since our trip is just days away!
I am going to keep trying to change our ADR, just wondering what your thoughts were if I can't find an earlier time slot. Thanks for your help!
Well, you can always try - you might luck out, but if you don't, then I assume you'd be charged the cancellation fee, as you wouldn't be able to keep your ADR, so you'd be taking a risk there. Do keep trying though - you never know if you might luck out with an earlier ADR.
Could you talk to someone at Disney Dining and explain the situation? Maybe they could sprinkle a little pixie dust and find an earlier ADR for you.
Or, if you get a chance...stop in to Chef Mickey's in person a few days ahead of time and explain.

If it can't be changed and you are last minute making that decision, go in and change your ressie to a later time several days away. Just take anything that's available, as you won't be making it anyway. Then you can go back in and cancel that one without a penalty for being a no show. (A CM told me to do this once when I was sick and unable to make an ADR.)
