Wilderness Lodge Boulder Ridge Villas

Hi Everyone! Just booked a one week trip for August to stay at Boulder Ridge Villas with my husband and parents - we are staying in a 2-bedroom Villa.

Anyone have any experiences with this resort? We got a good deal as annual pass members (plus one night free with our travel credit card, Citi Prestige), so decided to give it a try.

We are huge Disney fans and have stayed at multiple places (most recently typically the Contemporary), but would love to hear any and all tips about this resort! We stayed at the Lodge many years ago but I don't remember much about it.

We stayed in a one-bedroom villa at Boulder Ridge earlier this year and loved it. We were right off the lobby, which was lovely. The feel of the rooms is wonderful.

We never used to "get" the Wilderness Lodge, but over our last couple of visits, we really have. It's got such a lovely feel to it. We took the guided tour they do in the morning (around 9:00am or 9:15am - I don't remember which) and that was fascinating. We learnt so much from it. I'd thoroughly recommend that.

We stayed there for the first time in April and very much enjoyed it. So much so that DH wants to return there for our spring trip. . The resort is really lovely and we both enjoyed Geyser Point and being closer to Trailís End (not the easiest place to get to from some resorts). I think you will have a great time!

Love WL. We’ve had 3 stays here but it’s been a long time since last one so looking forward to returning. As chezp mentions sign up for the tour, also when you check in inquire about being a flag family.
The new Villas pool looks great.
We always enjoyed the Nature Trail along the lake over to Ft W but that’s sadly no longer there, since they built the cabins. There is a paved walkway over, haven’t taken it yet. We always enjoy a meal at Trails End while we stay in MK Resort. Easy to get to from WL.
