Both my DS (18) and I love steak. Wondering where everyone thinks the best steak is? DH is a fish person, but likes a good ribeye. Last year went to Flying Fish and everyone was happy, but thought there might be other great places to try.
Yachtsman gets my vote, hands down. Its relaxed but elegant atmosphere makes Yachtsman the perfect place to wind down after a day of hectic touring.
Oddly, the prime rib is served with a sweet potato casserole which I thought peculiar until tasting it. It proved to be subtlely sweet, setting off the meat amazingly. I ate myself silly and then some.
Their steaks are cut in house and cooked perfectly. Service is efficient, servers eager to recommend and advise.
I agree that Le Cellier isn’t as great as many claim. We found the food okay, but it felt like eating in a dungeon. It’s really dark with tables much too close together, IMO.
Do consider Yachtsman since you enjoyed Flying Fish. I suspect you’ll be as big fans as we are if you give it a try.

On our March trip we ate a lot of steak as it is one of our favorites... our favorite steaks from this trip was the filet at Yachtsman & Narcoossees and surprisingly the beef & shrimp at the Castle (was not listed on allears.net but has been on the Castle menu since at least January. These were all perfectly cooked. The best though (melt in your mouth like butter) was the bison steak at California Grill that my sweetheart ordered and proceeded to pick at it bc it was a little too rare for him. I willingly sacrificed and switched with him. I would go back for that steak alone.

We have a reservation there in August, but I don't recall seeing that on the menu, but it sounds fabulous. Was this a special for the night? Or was it on their regular menu?
Sadly, I looked backed at our photos from the night but I did not see one of the menu. I merely have what we all ate. I can say that the wonderful filet and shrimp we had at the Castle was on the menu it also was not showing up on allears or the official Disney site. Good luck.
