Great photos of the park, which is so beautiful. Just love all the various trees and shrubbery and how they fit in so well with the park. The surrounding buildings fit in so well and the views are amazing. I could certainly spend a whole day here on a sunny one and just relax and take it all in!

The park looks great - I didn't get there on my last trip to Barcelona so need to remedy that this time.
It was a great taste of the history!

Day 2 - Park Guell Part 2 - More Photos!

Hearing all the wonderful information in the shade

there's what would have been a marketplace down here

I'm sure I was trying to catch a Pokemon

these icons on the ceiling would symbolize what merchants would sell underneath!

This lizard/dragon is a pretty famous icon for the park

Refreshed with some hydration in hand!

At the end of the tour there was a bit of free time to get a beverage and browse the gift shop. We got two bottles of water and a coloring book based on Gaudiís designs. I havenít used it yet I was definitely catching Pokemon throughout the park too... but the screenshots save last in my photos so I'm not sure the timing on the Snapchats/Pokemon sightings...

We headed back to the van and onto our next stop of the day!

The bus parking is even nice

Up Next: Day 2 - More to see!

The whole place is beautiful and love all the colors of the buildings and especially the roman columns. Seems like it was a worthwhile tour!

Isn't it just an amazing place? It took us until about our second or third visit to Barcelona to make it out there, but I'm glad we finally did.

Thanks for the amazing pictures, we plan on visiting the Park before our cruise next September. If you are not with a tour guide, is the Park easy to visit on your own?

It's a little out of the way but once you're there you can definitely just wonder and enjoy the scenery.

Day 2 - More to See!

After our tour of the park we headed back into the city to somewhere familiar, back to La Sagrada Familia Basilica! The tour today also didnít go inside, but having a tour guide be able to explain everything to us made it so much easier to appreciate the beauty of the craftsmanship and the timeline that is has taken to build it.

If I were to go back, I would certainly make a point to go inside. For me itís so cool to think that this building has been under construction for so long!

We started with a great photo spot across the park before heading closer to admire some of the details.

This was along the way from where we were dropped offÖ

Keeping up the area

Our tour guide was great at making sure we got photos together!

After everyone got their photos we moved closer to admire the details of this stunning building.

I was able to appreciate so much more today as the differences in architecture and style were pointed out. The intricate details shine through the cranes and construction all around. Now here comes a photo heavy section as there is just so much to take in here!

Up Next: Day 2 - Heading back out of the city

Great details and photos of the cathedral! It's quite impressive but would be more so without the cranes!
