New group for us! This doesn't have to be the end.
I've created a new, closed Facebook group so that we can keep up our challenges when this board sadly closes at the end of this year. I know that I personally finish a LOT more pages because of having set a goal, and I'd like to keep that going.
It's also fun to see how my friends are doing, and sometimes view their finished products.
I sent an invitation to my FB friends, and I'd like you to join, too, if you're a crafter--any craft! Quilting, card-making, knitting, sewing, painting--whatever you make for fun is fine. The group is called Crafting Challenge Group (PassPorters).
You can choose to set challenges for yourself and report your progress, and/or show off what you've made--there's no upper limit for photos on FB! Or you can just browse and see how everyone else is doing.
Maybe we'll do more of the fun swaps where everyone picks a topic from a general theme and makes enough for a group, if folks want to do that.
If you're not on Facebook already and are a bit dubious about it, you can make an account with an alias and put in no personal information at all. Be sure to go to the security settings and make it as private as you like. If your alias is the same as your username here, that'll make it much easier for us to know who you are, but you can put any name you like.
Hope to see you join us! I don't expect it to really get going until closer to the end of the year when we set our goals for 2019, but it's already up and running.
Please drop by and ask to join it if you get a chance. Thanks!
