Hi and Welcome to the boards.

From everything I'm reading, it says open to WDW guests. Since I've never been, I don't know if it's an event where you have to show your Key to the World Card proving you're a guest. Hopefully someone can come along and give you a better answer though.

We were there three weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

We were not staying on property for the second week we were there and didnt have to show any ID.

You can buy smores and roast them over the fire.
The sing-a-long started at 8pm and Chip and Dale came around about 8:30 ish with a disney movie starting at 8:40

It was a great evening.

We went last year, and it is a really fun night! We were not staying on property either, there is no one checking for ID's it is open to all. They do sell smores kits, but IMHO they were very expensive! We brought our own fixins and just purchased the long roasting sticks from the Chuck Wagon. Never asked for an ID when we went. We don't have any kids, but we still had a really good time!
