Hi! I have wanted to get a D23 membership for a while now. DVC is offering a discount, so I'm wondering which level to get? Is it correct that the only difference in levels is that you get the magazines with the gold level?
Those who have D23, do you feel it is worth the $$?

As far as I can see, the magazine subscription is the only difference.
I am a Day 1 charter member as well and am happy with my membership. I renewed Gold again this year as well. I wish that I could have made some of the events that were scheduled for members, but the schedules just never worked out for me.
I will say though, that the cost of the Gold membership is the same as if I were to buy the magazines separately in a local bookstore (which, for the record, I was never able to do because I could never personally find them available anywhere!) plus tax. I believe the Gold membership is even a bit cheaper than if you were to buy the individual magazines (plus tax and shipping) on the Disney Store website.
Overall, I am personally happy with my decision to renew.

I have the Gold membership and love it. I love the magazine and when it comes through D23 you will sometimes get little extras. For example, the current issue came with a cool patch that had one of the symbols used for the first Epcot pavillions. The patches were made for D23 members and there are nine different patches. Now I just want to get the other eight (my issue came with the Living Seas patch).
