I broke my elbow when I was 8 and fell off our horse. I had a cast for either 6 or 8 wks, can't remember. What I do remember is that it sucked because it happened right before school got out, so I had to stay out of our pool for most of the summer! (This was in MI, where the swimming window is not long. )

I broke my arm when I was 2 years old. My Mom and Dad said it took both of them plus 2 nurses to hold me down so the Doctor could put a cast on it. I fell down 2 steps while trying to drag a doll buggy up some stairs.
I broke a bone in my toe when I was a kid. They put it in plaster, only in later years we found out that they put the wrong foot in plaster!
Outside the Church on Spilled Blood in St. Petersburg on our Baltic cruise. Read the pre-trip report for western Canada, Disney World for Bagman Days to remember Bill (LizardCop) and our Disney cruise.
