I am a development engineer in the Oil and Gas Industry. It is not my dream job but I do enjoy it at least a lot of the time.
My dream job was teaching Maths but I gave that up to do this job as it allows us to be a single income family and have a parent at home for the children. It has also given us great travle opportunities and it pays for a great school for my kids.
Location: Virginia - a day's drive to WDW or NYC :)

I work in a finance capacity in Social Services. It is not my dream job, but it is WAY better than the 16 years I spent in banking, and relatively low stress. It makes me able to afford the things i want to do, which is what is most important.
My dream job was to be a performer of some kind, and I have always regretted that when I was young I allowed well-meaning people to talk me out of persuing something that wasn't predictable and secure.
I work in the call center of an utility company & I'm getting beyond tired of it. I listen to customers we'll say "complain" to put it nicely all day. Management has been forcing us to work 12 hour shifts M-F since the hurricane & no telling when it will end.
Only plus side is it pays really well & is paying off Disney.

I am a DoD contractor doing project management. It's not my dream job, but it is in line with what I went to college for and I do actually love the work.
However, Samantha Brown has my dream job. I really enjoy watching her travel specials on tv and I'd love to be able to do that one day. I actually have two dream jobs. My other dream job would be an Imagineer helping to design the theme of each ride. I've been fascinated with that ever since watching a behind the scenes interview with Joe Rhode on how he went to Asia to research how to decorate Expedition Everest.

I am an RN (registered nurse). Right now, I love my job. I hate the administration we have but there are changes in the works that I hope move the hospital I work for in the right direction. My dream job: well, I think what I really want to do is be a nurse manager! I love the management side of nursing, and think I have a lot to offer. Already told my manager I'm gunning for her job (we have the same degrees!)
I am retired now.....customer service was my job for 24 years. I am a "people person"..so for the most part I did like my job. I am now caregiver for my DH.......not at all a dream job. My dream was to own and run a "bed and breakfast" type inn.

My DH and I manage a summer repertory theatre. I don't know if it's my dream job, but I like being able to work with DH and I'm in the field I want to be in. It's certainly never dull. I don't know if I have a dream job; maybe a tumble monkey?
I'm an RN - but retired from direct patient care three years ago. I am officially retired, sort of. I work 16-24 hours a week at two different jobs. One is as the hospital's emergency preparedness coordinator - I try to make certain we are ready for whatever emergency/disaster might come our way. This might be my dream job, if management actually believed that being prepared had some value beyond being able to tell the powers that be that we have a plan! My second job is as a member of the Medical Records department, where I audit charts to make certain that whatever was charged has been documented as being used - in other words that we haven't charged for something that wasn't used! This job is very close to being my dream job - I really like the detective work that is involved in finding out what has been going on! It doesn't hurt that I get to tell people what they have been doing wrong, and help them to improve things.

My family has been in the Automotive Repair business for years. I started there and then decided to get out of the family business to take another position at an auto manufacturer. Looking back I wished I would have chosen something outside of the auto industry.
