How many days??

We're planning our days for our DLR trip in August. For WDW, I always plan 2 full days at our favorite parks, and even then we sometimes feel like we don't get to everything. DL isn't a once in a lifetime trip...cause I know we will be back...but not for a long time. (we're east coasters, so the cross country trek can't happen all that often) So we need to do and see everything!

Originally we planned 4 full days, 2 in each park, with a fifth half day to go back and do whatever we missed or redo our favs. But now we ended up flying in a day early, so we have 5 full days for the parks. Is that just too much???

We're going the 18-22 of August, and Touring Plans gives those days a rating of like 3-5. We would rather go slow, see everything in a relaxing way, than feel rushed and stressed trying to fit it all in.

I don't think five days is too much. We ended up spending four and a half days at Disneyland over Christmas (not our original plan) and we found plenty to keep us busy during that time.

I think you can find plenty to do! We were there last time for 3.5 days and I would've liked a couple more days to make sure I saw it all!

What we've done was no less than 2 full days of DL and 1 1/2 to 2 days at DCA.
Our first trip to DL we did only 1 day for each park and really regreted it.

We're going in July (2-11) and are doing 2 days at DL and 1 at DCA. Also you can
do some downtime at Downtown Disney.

I'm sorry did you just use "Disney" and "too much" in the same sentence!?!?! Shhhhh you might get banned from the boards for speaking such blasphemy!
I think you'll be happy with that time. Disneyland has a much more "relax and stroll around" feel to it and there are all sorts of nooks and crannies to just nestle in and enjoy. I LOVE the New Orleans square area, particularly because of the gumbo and those darn Mickey beignets. Maybe take one of the days and do a tour? We did the "Walk in Walt's Footsteps" Tour and LOVED it. Then about 2 months after our tour they started letting people in Walt's apartment above the fire station. BUMMER, we wanted to see that SO BAD! The tour was great and really inspiration, emotional and informative.

My dear mom will be 84 when we got to DL. We've been to WDW a lot, how many days do you think it would take see most of what DL has to offer when using a scooter as your pace setter?
