Several years back, my DD was given a board - similar to a Bingo Card - for using to collect Pins - it was like a scavenger hunt sort of speak -
Well I want to make a new one for her to use for our summer trip and was hoping all you creative folks could help me with some ideas for the blocks -
To give you an idea of what it looked like - it was like an 8 1/2 x 11 cardboard type card - with 20 squares going across and down as 4 across, 5 down.
some of the ones to look for on the original board were:
Find a pin featuring an attraction from Magic Kingdom (and then the other 3 parks)
Find a specific character pin (Mickey, Minnie, etc)
Find a pin with a date on it
Find a Pirate pin
You get the idea...............
So can you help me come up with other ideas to use??? She really enjoys "scavenger hunts" and is 13, almost 14 at time of trip.
Thanks!!!

That's a really cool idea! I see that you are going to be there for the 4th of July, so you could have her look for a pin celebrating the 4th or one with fireworks on it. I'm not sure if there is a big movie coming out for the summer like has been in years past, but if there is, she could look for a pin associated with the movie, If not, she could always search for a pin from her favorite movie.

I love this idea! I may have to try this with my niece on our next visit.
Here are a few ideas that I thought of:
A holiday pin
Black and white pin
Interactive pin - something with an opening door, or spinner, or dangly piece
thanks! more great ideas!!!
I will post a pic of what I have in mind once I complete one - now it's turning into a BIGGER project - as we have "family" that will be visiting with 4 kids who all love to pin trade - so we are planning to make one for each of them (sorta personalized to their tastes) for birthday gifts!!

This sounds like a blast!
thanks!!! Good ideas!! Those could work for Em - the other kids are a bit timid......might be tough with them!!
Funny thing is - when I pulled out the "original" board this am, there was a Duffy pin on there that she had been searching for last trip!!! So will have to add Duffy to her board!! starting to think there might be multiple boards..........or at least I will have PLENTY of ideas for multiple trips!!

This sounds like so much fun! I'll have to remember this on our next trip.
What about
trade for a secret pin (the ones CMs put on backwards)
the pin that completes a set or series
a pin for the resort where you're staying
a food-related pin
a pin for a character you met on this trip

Wow, what a great idea! What about:
a pin for each of the Fab 5 characters,
a Hidden Mickey pin,
a pin from the resort you are staying at,
a pin with the icon from each of the major parks.
I can't wait to see the pics of the card you create!
Okay - so I have been working on this project for a few days now - and have compiled a list of "ideas" to use in each of the blocks - I will be using 20 blocks for each "board".................This weekend I will actually be making some - so I will post photos when I complete them - but thought I would share the list now - and if anyone sees anything missing, feel free to add to the list!!
