Epcot to Hollywood Studios at 9 in the morning via International Gateway - can it be done?

I know we can use the International Gateway to get from Epcot to DHS but would we be stopped from doing it first thing in the morning? Our plans our last day have us going to DHS for a little bit in the morning but then ending the night at Epcot. Originally I was going to have us park at the Studios, do our thing, take the boat to Epcot, spend time there, then head back to the Studios. However, when I looked at the hours, right now DHS is scheduled to close at 8:30 that night. Being our last night, I don't think we'll be out too late but I don't want a difficult time getting back to the car if I've lost track of time. Having said that, I'm thinking since we don't have to be at DHS for opening, we could head to Epcot that morning at 9 am for opening, park the car, walk through to the IG and take the boat to DHS. We'll do our thing (mainly the Ralph and Vanellope M&G which should open at 10:30). If we want to do anything else we will but then we'll take the boat back to Epcot so that way when we're done for the night, our car is there (in the Epcot lot, not DHS). All we have to do is leave the park. Will the CM's not allow us through WS to get to the IG at 9 am or will there be CM's ushering us on our way/just making sure we don't stop anywhere? With Lenny using a scooter, it's just easier at times to keep him on it versus breaking it down and putting it together several times. My only other choice is to park at DHS, have Lenny and/or Abby take the boat from DHS to Epcot while I drive the car to Epcot and hopefully find a parking spot and then meet them somewhere. Which will work great if I remember to give them their tickets (which I can see me forgetting to do).

TIA for your help.

I know that Akershus and the bakery in France open early for breakfast. So, I would imagine they let people into WS at least for those 2 things. I know you can enter the IG early, so I don't see why you couldn't exit there as well.

We've walked out through the International Gateway before it officially opens a number of times before - the last time we had an early breakfast at Akerhaus in November, then left at around 10:00am and walked out with no issue back to the Beach Club.

It shouldn't be a problem to exit at International Gateway -- that's the only way to get from Epcot to the hotels there. There will be cast members along the path to make sure you don't go past France, but if you tell them where you're going, they will let you continue. The boat to Hollywood Studios will take a while, because it will stop at one or more hotels, but it will get you there.

Yes you can use the IG in the morning. It would open early for the people who have ADRs for breakfast. They have CMs stationed in certain spots so that people won't walk into an area that is still closed.
