With few exceptions, I've seen the whole state I've lived in JAX for more than 7 years (wow!!! how did that happen?) and I've lived in Miami and the Florida Keys before. I travel all over the state for work - and I have done hurricane recovery in SW Florida and the Panhandle. I would like to spend a bit more time exploring the big bend part of the coast (north of Tampa) and a bit more of the SW part of the state.

We always used to visit Florida in December. We'd go to Orlando mid-December when the crowds were low and then when all the tourists showed up, we'd head south.

We've visited Naples, Sanibel Island, Key West, Miami, Palm Beach, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda...I'm sure some others.

I haven't visited that much of Florida, besides Orlando we've visited Tampa, Lakeland and go to the Keys on a regular basis since my father in law has a house in lower Sugar Loaf Key.

Every summer we go to Destin/Ft. Walton Beach. We stay at THe Breakers on Okaloosa Island.
I've flown into Miami, and of course Orlando and Disney!

Wow, were have DH or I not visited is a better question.

DH was born in Miami, but grew up in Vero Beach/Sebastion. His maternal family lives in West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale, Lake Worth, Palm Bay and Melbourne. His best buddy is in Winter Beach. His Dad just moved to LeCanto and sister is in Inverness. So going to Orlando is really our vacation. Going other places is "visiting family."

DH has been stationed at Tyndall AFB outside of Panama City and Hurlburt Field outside of Ft. Walton Beach. So we have visited a lot towns around NW Florida. We really enjoy the adventures of discovering the areas that Uncle Sam sends us too.

As I grew up my father took us on the traditional vacation to Disney and a cruise out of Port Canaveral. I visited my Aunt in Ft. Walton Beach.

We have made sure we have been to Kennedy Space Center, Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Key Largo, Key West, Florida Caverns in Marianna, Jacksonville, Daytonna races, Tallahasse Capital building, and many beach vacations in Destin area when not living in FL. I am sure I forgot something.

Mainly we fly into Disney. However, we have driven to Orlando several times with side visits to Tampa Bay and Kennedy Space Center. Basically, we stick to central FL.
However, we are planning our first cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale in April 2010 with a stop in Key West. I am looking forward to that!

Another one who has barely ventured out of Disney. When I was a teen we went to NASA on day and I had been to Universal twice pre IOA but thats it. We always think about it but we usually travel with others that Don't do Disney often so we always decide not to venture out.
