3/15 Launch Cancelled!
I heard the launch scheduled for March 15th has been cancelled --- glad I didn't tell my boys about it--- we can sleep a few hours later & still see the Space Center that day!! Hopefully we'll be there another time w/ a scheduled launch--- may take a few years, but...

It's not looking promising...the date has been removed from the mission schedule and Atlantis needed to go back in to get some damage from a severe thunderstorm repaired.

That happened to us in Dec. We did get to see the shuttle on the pad, but it didn't lift-off until we were headed back home. We always enjoy KSC!

Sorry that it's delayed for your vacation.

I was kind of hoping that it would be delayed and we could see the launch, but no go for us either. Looks like an April launch now. I saw the launch from a Disney bus last September and it was amazing from there, too bad we couldn't have viewed it closer though.
