| Help us make a choice We are travelling to Florida this summer and since we are not staying at Disney this time we will be going to one of two destinations that my husband has said he wants to visit. The problem is how to choose. Miami Beach and vicinity: have never been in this area at all and he wants to see Ft. Lauderdale, South Beach and Miami Beaches. Siesta Key near Sarasota: we did see Siesta Key one time for about an hour on our way to Sarasota and really like it for its special cool sand beach and artsy funky area nearby, we want to stay here sometime. So how do we choose, either one is fine with me, either one is fine with him......help us decide by telling us what you know of them, have you stayed there, what are your impressions, basically all we know is what they have on the travel channel. Oh and if we did choose Miami how far to drive (length of time) to visit the keys (Key West?) is it doable in a day? If we stay in Siesta Key how far to drive (length of time) to visit Sanibel Island: is it doable in a day?

| It is doable to visit the Keys in a day, but I would leave early because there is only one road and there can be a lot of traffic. I can't tell you about Siesta Key, but Miami is a fun place to visit, especially at South Beach. The only problem is that it is expensive and there is a lot of traffic.
