| Where to stay at Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach We're going to add a couple of days at Cocoa Beach after our week at Disneyworld this summer and are wondering where to stay? We would really like a hotel on the beach, but I really don't want to pay over around $150-175 a night. We want to be close enough to see a launch at Kennedy (if it happens and is not canceled), there's supposed to be a shuttle launched one of the nights we are there. I was looking at Crowne Plaza Oceanfront in Melbourne, but I'm not sure how close that is to everything. We would like to go on the pier and explore/shop/eat, etc. Anyone have any ideas? I need to book soon because a lot of the hotels I've looked at on the internet don't have my dates available. |

| We have stayed twice at the Radisson at Port Canaveral, and have been very happy. Comfortable sleep number beds, nice restaurant, beautiful grounds. We paid $129/night, but there are better Internet deals out there if you book and pay in advance. I believe you can book for $99/night. Here is the website for info: Radisson Hotels & Resorts. Hotel reservations for leisure and business travel.
