| Space Shuttle Atlantis is "Go for Launch" tonight! It's looking good for launch tonight!  The scheduled time is 7:38 PM.The weather seems to be cooperating, and the crew is ready to go. If you have access to NASA-TV, you can watch the launch live. The updates will be posted on the website, so stay tuned!  NASA - Space Shuttle

| I have a friend who lives in Kissimmee and she sent me a message after the launch bragging about how she sat out in her driveway to watch "yet another" launch! She's so mean.  I used to like to go sit on the beach in St. Augustine to watch them. *sigh*Anyways . . . the pics and vids from Atlantis' launch are so cool! Methinks I will have to sit down and show them to DD later today!

| We are in Orlando this week and drove over to Cocoa Beach and watched the launch. I was very impressed!! MY kids loved it. We had our laptop with us so we could watch all the preparations on the NASA site. We saw the countdown and takeoff then in a second we could see the shuttle. The windows in the motel across the street were shaking. Everyone we have talked to today the kids have told them about the shuttle. If you ever have a chance to see a launch GO!! |
