|  Atlantis is GO for launch!!! Space Shuttle Atlantis is go for launch on Thursday, 12/6!!!! NASA gave their final approval and a thumbs up for the launch to proceed! It is scheduled for 4:31 PM on Thursday afternoon. Atlantis will be taking a crew of 7 to the International Space Station. The crew arrives at Kennedy Space Center on Monday at 12:30 PM and the countdown officially begins at 7:00 PM Monday. For all you Mousefesters, the launch will be visible from WDW. And for anyone lucky enough to be on the deck of the Disney Wonder awaiting sailing, Cape Canaveral and the launch pad are VERY visible from the ship!  I will keep you updated as long as I can before we leave for Mousefest...hoping to bring back some pictures!!

| Hurray! Wish I was going to be there for it. Last launch went off the day after we went home. My brother-in-law authored the rendezvous software they use to dock with the International Space Station, so I am keen on the shuttle program.
