| Cape Canaveral So has anyone been to Cape Canaveral lately?? We are heading to Vero Beach after our week at the World. We thought maybe We could head straight to the coast and See Cape Canaveral before heading down to Vero Beach. Can you see anything worth seeing in a couple hours? I havent been there in 25 years and I am sure it has changed. Any Verterans??? Thanks a lot!!

| Our last time was 2006. The bus tour takes about 3-4 hours and you see pretty much everything I think quite a few things have changed in 25 years so it will be a great visit ![]()

| We were there in October of 2006 and had a great time. We did the bus tour and it took about 2 hours - basically it can take as long as you want it to take since you get off a bus, look around as long as you want and then grab the next tour bus that is leaving for the next location. We found there were some areas that we wanted to spend more time at than others. The Saturn V Center is definitely worth seeing. When we went, we spent the morning at Kennedy, had lunch and then had plenty of time at the beach - we went to Cocoa Beach.

| We are heading there in September! I plan on devoting most of the day to it, since it's been years since I was there, too!

| I love the KSC!!! You can take a tour of several areas related to the space program. Or you can go on a simulated Shuttle Launch. I hate to say it but that was my favorite ride in all of Florida. We also saw the actual Shuttle ready for take off on a distant launch pad. I just love that stuff.

| We went last Aug, & spent the night in Cocoa Beach before heading to WDW. We went too late so only had time for the bus tour & ride simulator, but didn't have time for the Imax movies. I think if you want to do it all, it's pretty much an all day thing. We could have gone back the next morning to see the movies, but the girls wanted surf lessons from Ron Jon's surf shop!!
