| from Port to KSC We are hoping to go directly from the port to KSC as part of our trip this month. Is it possible to go to the visitor's center via Rt. 3, or do you have to go to Rt. 1 and back out via Rt. 405? We want to maximize our time there as we have to board the autotrain in the afternoon. Thanks!

| I truly don't remember the route we took 2 years ago, but I remember that after disembarking the Magic and renting a car, we still arrived at KSC before the Visitor's Center opened at 9 am. I agree that checking a few mapping websites should help you find a good route. Have a great trip, Melissa

| When we were there we went both ways - 3 is much easier, less traffic, etc. That was how my GPS took us.

| I think we also went Route 3 (although we were going from KSC to the Port). It was very quiet and deserted ![]()

| Thanks for the advice, but we will have to scrub that mission at this point, due to our having to return to NC to get our van. Maybe next cruise!
