| Endeavour lifts off!! Space Shuttle Endeavour "lit up Kennedy Space Center" as she lifted into space last night at 1955 hours. Her launch had been delayed by a few days due to weather. Endeavour is bound for the International Space Center. Here is a link to the video of liftoff: NASA - Multimedia - Video Gallery to the crew for a safe mission and return!

| My DS 2 1/2 tried so hard not to take his nap because he loved seeing the rocket ship all lit up and the moon... he was "counting down" just like Mickey Mouse does and he just couldnt make it so we taped it for him later and he loved it. I think I am raising the next nasa engineer.....

| We saw the launch from New Smyrna Beach. That was our last day at WDW and spent it at the MK. It was hard knowing it was our last day and we stayed through the 3pm parade. After that it was very hard to leave, we couldn't even look back down main st. for one last glance. After battling the tolls on rte 417 we made it to New Smyrna beach around 6:30pm. (Hey Florida - GET EZPASS!!!). New Smyrna is close enough to KSC for a spectacular view, and it enabled us to reach home the next day after a 13 hr drive. |
