| Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach? Has anyone stayed at this Hampton Inn? I've booked it for a 1 night stay before we go to WDW in Aug, my dd's love Ron Jons surf shop & also want to go surfing. I think it's pretty near Ron Jons? Opinions on the hotel? How near the beach is it? It was hard to tell on their web site.

| I live just north in Cape Canaveral. The Hampton Inn is nice and very convenient. Ron Jon's is only 3 blocks north. Try a visit to the Cocoa Beach Pier...wonderful view and various food choices. Have a good trip

| Thanks! In 2007 we stayed at the Best Western near the pier & had dinner on it. Very nice. Wasn't crazy about the Best Western though!! When we got back from dinner the police were arresting someone near our room

| I researced and researched hotels in cocoa beach as we will be staying for two nights before our cruise in April. We decided on The Courtyard Inn by Marriott. Its on the beach and had what we were looking for. I almost booked the Hampton Inn. I read alot of reviews on trip advisor. You may want to check out the reviews there. Have fun!!!!!

| When we were staying at the Hampton Inn, we checked out the Courtyard as well. You really cant miss it since they share the same parking lot. The pool area at the courtyard has more shade and a hot tub, while at the Hampton, it definetly was all sun and no hot tub. I will say though that the price difference was worth the extra $ because the FREE breakfast at the Hampton was incredible. It is also where a lot of the astronuts/workers for Cape canaveral stay. We ran into one and it was neat to hear about his training. Both hotels access the same walkway to the beach.

| It is near the pier, walking distance. We walked over for dinner. There is nothing wrong with the hotel. It was clean, but rooms were small. Unfortunately there were some young people there that were too drunk, & I guess causing a scene, which I missed as we were just coming back from dinner (on the pier!) when I saw the police & arrest. So it wasn't something dangerous or anything, just some drunken rowdy young people. More of a nuisance then anything. I'm sure it was prob. an isolated incident.
