| KSC day before cruise? We are flying into Orlando the day before our cruise and are looking for something to do for that day. We'll be at our hotel at the Port (the Radisson Resort) by noon and have the rest of the day... is that enough time to do Kennedy Space Center? Their website says their current hours are until 6pm-do they stay open later than that in the summer (June 2009)? I know we wouldn't be able to do everything but do you think 4-6 hours is enough to see the big stuff? Or would that even be worth the cost of admission? Also we're not renting a car so we'd have to take a cab to get there- anyone got any idea how much that would cost from the Port to KSC? Any ideas/advice you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

| I'm not sure how much the cab would be!! Could you rent a car for the day from Budget? We did KSC the day before our cruise a couple of years ago. We didn't get there until around 2, and it was a bit rushed by then (we didn't make it to one exhibit). I do believe they did close at 6. It wasn't much later than that! I think you'd be fine if you got there at noon!

| We also got into KSC around the same time as Marnie 1 or 2:00ish. We didn't have time to see the I-Max movies and it was rushed. Maybe have a beach day instead? Lots of nice beaches around. Cocoa Beach has a pier, with restaurants & also has a RonJons surf shop. My dd's took surf lessons from their surf school & had tons of fun. So much that this Aug. we're forgetting about KSC, and just booking a beachfront hotel near Ron Jons, and the're doing the surfing thing again & we'll just do a beach day before going to WDW.

| I think 6 is the latest they stay open. You will definitely not have enough time to do everything in 4 or 5 hours. The bus tour alone is about an hour and a half. The Imax movie is about 45 minutes, and everything else depends on how long you want to stay. We had almost a full day there and still didn't get to see all that we wanted. If you do decide to go, AAA gives a pretty decent discount on the tickets. No clue how much a taxi ride would be, though. Are you taking car service to the Radisson? It might be worth it to look into a one day car rental from a company like Budget (they have transportation to the Port). You could rent your car at the airport, drive to the hotel or even stop at KSC on the way, and the next morning, drive everyone to the port, return the car and then take the shuttle to the Port. Or you could return the car that night and grab a cab back to the hotel. with your decision!

| Since you're staying at the Raddison I'd recommend going into the Port for dinner. Many, Many dining choices and watching the fishing boats come in is great fun. Have a great trip
