Question Panama City Beach?

We are thinking of a quick birthday trip for me in July to this beach since it's one we haven't been too. We didn't want to stay at a condo since most need you to stay a week and we are only planning on 4 days this trip since it's all DH can take off work.

We are trying to figure out where to stay on the beach, the best shelling cruise and the best Dolphin cruise. Any ideas or favorites?

There's a PPer, Goofy Mom that I think spends time there or near there. It's on the northern gulf coast? You may want to PM her. She leaves in 2 weeks! The only gulf beaches I've been to is St. Pete Beach!

Pretty much anywhere on the beach is good, and the prices are pretty much uniform. A few links to peruse. Everything is set up for spring break right now, but put in your vacation dates and it chould cycle...

I can't remember the name of the cruise, but the one to shell island is great.

I looked briefly at all the websites. They are great. I only saw the Chamber of Commerce one when I googled. I'll start sorting all the info this weekend. Hopefully one of them will have the Shell Island Cruise info too.

Thanks very much.

Here's some of the Cruise boat sites. I don't know if this is all of them, but these are the major ones. Unfortunately, I haven't used any of them so I can't recommend any particular one...

I have been to Panama City a few times and really enjoyed it. The beaches are beautiful - white sand and teal ocean! As far as hotels, the Marriott Resort at Bay Point is nice. I'd also check out the Marriott Rewards Insiders for more reviews.

I Panama City beaches. I havent been in years but use to go when I was a teenager. I remember there was a huge maze we went through a few times. Never were able to finish (wonder if its still there). The Shell Island Cruise is great!! We also went on a glass bottom boat to Shell Island.

this is the city site for hotels from Mexico city beach
Mexico Beach, Florida Business Listings - Mexico Beach Community Development Council

here is the same for Panama City beach
Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce All-New Location

sometimes the ones without website are the family owned ones and could be cheaper.
