| Space Center Before or After? We are on the west coast, so traveling east takes a big chunk of time. We would like to visit the Space Center in October when we take our cruise. Our choices are to 1) take a redeye out Thursday night and see the Space Center on Friday, staying Friday night in Cocoa Beach before our Saturday cruise (leaving Sunday after as a recoup day at home) OR 2) fly out Friday, stay by the airport that evening and go to the Space Center on Saturday, flying home on Sunday. Option 1 gives us that recoup day of Sunday before going back to work and/or school, but we have to take a redeye on Thursday (so that we don't take any more time off school and such). Option 2 means no redeye, but having to go to work the day after we get back. What would you do?

| Having had a lot of experience with red-eye flights, I'd rather do that and have an extra day at home to recover. ![]()

| I'd go for before the cruise, so you have the day to recover at the end!!

| We have done it both ways....just returned from a two week vacation (cruise/WDW) and went back to work the day after we got home. Let me tell you that was like a slap in the face! I would agree that having at least one day at the end to recoup would be a huge benefit. Have a great trip! |

| After We were looking at the same dilemma and decided after, but we'll have a extra day at home anyway. I didn't want to interrupt Disney with NASA. Also didn't want to rush NASA with all wanting to get to Disney!

| I hate going back to work the next day, and like a day to re-coup, so I vote for before. Esp since it is a long day flying. I live on the west coast.
