It seems everyone collects pins, scrapbooking, beanies, and antennae toppers. What else do you collect? I used to collect anything and everything Disney related! Now I have an attic full of stuff I need to sort through and get rid of. I need to pare down and keep only what is either really special or really cute. I have hundreds of books and beanies and ornaments and collectors cards and misc. stuff. None of it seems to sell on Ebay for what I paid. If I could just sell a little to make money for our trip in October. I was uncontrollable when I was younger. I have stuffed animals and albums and mugs and day planners and Barbie dolls and jewelry and boxes of stuff I haven't opened in years. How do you manage your urges? I have to say it's much easier now that I have 3 children
Years ago, I was into birdhouses and cherubs. Every birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day or any other gift giving occasion, my family and friends would bombard me with them. Now I have boxes of them under my bed, in the attic, and in the basement. Thankfully, my family got the hint that I was out of this phase and stopped buying them for me.
Now I only collect Disney pins. As no one in my family ever goes to WDW, I am stuck with buying my own additions to my collection.

I used to collect a lot of different things but after having to go thru relatives houses that have passed I decided I never wanted to do that to someone else and have been giving away or throwing away things for 6 months and I feel great about it. The only thing left I guess I collect are shoes.
Like Lori, after having to clean out several relatives homes, I've given up collecting as I've realized what a burden stuff can become to my family. I do have my collection of antenna toppers. Since I actually use them, I have been discarding them when they fade and no longer look good.
I collect Just the Right shoes, thimbles- my MIL and FIL have brought me them from all over the world, she started my collection, and it seems Pampered Chef would qualify as a collection. Someone once told me when you have more than 3 of anything, its a collection! Ha ha!!
