A visit to Mouse Memories

While I was at WDW last week, I made a visit to the Mouse Memories store in Kissimmee. My DH was sweet enough to drive me over there when we took a break from the parks one afternoon. The store is about 12 miles or so from the Animal Kingdom area.

It's a great store to visit, everything was well-organized. It was so nice to see all of the merchandise in person. They had tons of Disney papers, stickers, every 3-D Jolee Disney sticker (some I hadn't seen before). They also have a lot of different travel papers, stickers and embellishments as well as sports, scouting and some other miscellaneous things.

I did pick up a few things - some paper, including one for Expedition Everest, a couple of die cuts for my Christmas scrapbook, some Jolee stickers that I haven't seen here locally. I restrained myself, though, and just spent $30. But at least I've seen a lot of things in person, so if I decide to order off the website I'll remember what they looked like.

The employees were really nice, they put some cardboard behind my papers and shrink-wrapped my purchase so it would travel well in my suitcase. They definitely do a huge mail-order business as they had a stack of priority mailboxes by the back door. I'm glad I made the trip, it makes me want to get my pictures organized and printed and get back to work on my scrapbooks.

At the convention I did in Orlando last year, they were just down the aisle from me. SO very dangerous!!! I had to walk by their booth every day going in and out. I spent lots o' my profits (and they were just the nicest people, too!) I'm planning on going there in September, but I'm going to have to leave everything but my license back at the hotel!!!

I have never had the pleasure of going by their store, but I do spend WAY too much money ordering through their website, that's for sure! I will have to pop in and check out the store next time I get down to WDW (whenever that may be. )

No shopping carts, but they do hand you a large flat tray to use while you are shopping to protect your paper.
