| Passporter Scrapbook Challange November Ok lets get a bit fancy well kinda. I would like to see how you can use Glitter in a layout. There is some differnt ways you can add glitter. 1. Glue 2. double sided tape or the doulbe sided stickers made for glitter. 3.premade Glitter chipboard or you can make your own. I hope you like this challange.

| I've never used glitter, but I liked the pages you posted a while back Marcie. Do you have to buy glitter especially made for scrapbooking, or can you use any type of glitter?

| Well, I normally don't use things like glitter because I don't really like to put "stuff" on my pages. But I do have a couple ideas for this challenge!! Wish me luck. Maggie

| Well Marcie, I have to say that you got me on this one as I have never used glitter on a layout! When I saw what this challenge was, I was doing this: But, I dove in and came up with this: ![]() It's hard to see in the photo, but there is glittler all around the picture of the castle. This is a layout I am doing for the book of our latest trip to WDW. This book will have no order, but will be filled with memories of magical moments . And while at first the idea of using glitter put me off, I think it was a perfect touch for this page. So, thanks Marcie for inspiring me! And as a side note about this page, I used something on it that I think deserves attention. Marv (Michelle) was kind enough to send me some things cut from her Wishblade as I was selected as the featured layout of the month. The items arrived in an envelope that has been sitting on my desk and reminds me that I need to finish my book from MNSSHP of 06. As I was looking around for little things that could be used to fill up the corner of my layout, I noticed the stamp on the envelope that Michelle had sent me. It was a stamp with Peter Pan and Tink on it, and it was perfect fit for a spot on my layout! Plus, it was blue and green and went perfect with the colors of my page. Here's a close up of it (and some of the glitter) : ![]() Thanks to both Marcie and Michelle for the inspiration behind this layout. This is one I have done that I acutally kind of like!

| Great layout Nala! I love how your glitter emphasizes the feeling of magic and pixie dust! I love the Peter Pan and Tink stamp (I bought those to use for my passporter Christmas cards!) - it was a great touch for your page! You sure aren't wasting any time jumping to work on your latest trip - I hope you'll share more of the pages because this sounds like it will be a creatively unique book!

| Nala - that is so cool! It's great how you blended your "signature" style of scrapping with the challenge! The glitter as Pixie Dust is perfect! I haven't been scrapping much lately and when I saw the glitter challenge, I felt lost too...then when I read about the pre-made chipboard, I thought, "Hey, I used this on a page this summer (when I was scrappin')!" I'll try to post that one. And, yes, please continue - I, too, haven't posted a lot - but have enjoyed the challenge when I've participated and sneaking a peak at everyone else's when I haven't! |

| Great way to use glitter - what better way to depict "pixie dust". And I can't believe you used a stamp Nala - you are too smart! I love the challenges Marcie, and I hope you keep doing them!

And, you have done a GREAT job of coming up with the challenges!!!!!! Add me to the list of those who want to see them continue next year. Had it not been for these monthly challenges, I would have had far less pages done. These challenges have inspired and motivated me to catch up on things I was behind on and I am very grateful for that! Plus, they have inspired me to try new things and I know they have done the same for other scrappers. And thank you everyone for your kind words. The support we get here from everyone for our efforts is another reason I hope the challenges continue!
