| Yay! A new challenge! I don't have any type of cutting machine, but maybe I can borrow someone's before the month is out.

| I should have mentioned I am not just talking about the ones that plug in. Any hand operated one will do too.

| Here are a few I did the titles using my new Cricut. ![]() This is one of my favorite pictures of our last trip. When we left the Poly to check into the YC, DD couldn't wait to get her feet in the lake. I love that the BW was the background for this picture. As she stood there looking out across the lake, she looked so little compared to the resort and lake on the horizon. Hence the title. ![]() This one is one of two layouts I did of Storm Along Bay. I love the carved wood figures of women that were once used on the front of ships, so the picture of the one on the ship at SAB was the focus of this page. I found a poem about the legend of SAB and printed it out to put on the page. I scraplifted this layout off the one I had done of the Poly, which was scraplifted off a layout I saw on Two Peas. So I guess that makes this layout a double scraplift! I used glitter on this layout as I am now hooked on it thanks to Marcie's challenge. And since I am on a quest to use stuff from my stash and not buy more stuff, I found a bottle with a message in it (an old Jolee's piece) and used it to embelish the frame around the little picture of Kiara. ![]()

| Great stuff Nala! I can't decide which of those 2 layouts I like the best - they are both awesome! The Little Girl - Big World page is just perfect in it's context where the layout makes Kiara look even smaller when facing the lake and the hotel. The Legend of SAB page is just so full of interesting things to look at and the colors are beautiful! Great job!

| Beautiful pages, Nala. In addition, I always enjoy your journaling stories behind the pictures. What a fun idea to pull up the legend of SAB. I could have used that idea a few years ago on my photo of the ship!

| my January challenge page Here's my January challenge page. It's going to be the opening of my book for my December 07 trip. I used my Cricut to make the Disney characters and the "Disney" name on the tag. This was my first time using my Mickey fonts cartridge. I really like how the characters turned out but next time I will make them as large as possible. The small sizes are very hard to work with - especially the placing and gluing! All the other letters are some cool glitter letters I found at WalMart and Target. I used the tag for some of the title since I'll be incorporating my autograph tags into this book. The red background paper has holly leaves outlined in gold and the paper I used to make the wreath has lots of small holly leaves. I also used some small red gems as holly berries on the wreath. ![]()

| Awsome job Karan! It looks fabulous. I know what you mean on the smaller pieces. I did 10 cards with Mickey on them it was a 20 step project. I will have to post it for you guys.

| Wonderful pages Nala and Kim!!! Nala: The Little Girl, Big World page is just awesome!! Probably my fave of the two. Kim: I haven't explored the characters yet as I am a little aprehensive I'll get frustrated. I've used some other aspects of the Mickey carts though. My page is done, just have to get a picture of it.

| Dang, Karen, you did some work putting all the pieces of the characters together! I think I would have pulled my hair out! But the effort was worth it as the page is adorable! Love the use of the gems, too. Along with glitter, they are my new thing! I need to get that cartridge! Great job!!
