I am finally finished my challenge layout! When I saw the challenge was to use light blue and white, I knew I just had to do a page of "my" Fairy Godmother. These pictures are from my December '07 trip. The background paper is one that I bought on my one and only Hobby Lobby shopping spree last summer (I had to travel 1400 miles from home to get to a HL store! I REALLY live in the sticks!). The paper is by EK Success from their Cinderella line. It is pale blue with white and creamy yellow streaks and pixie dust stars with glitter. It worked really well for a Fairy Godmother page because I could use more glitter and sparkly things like jewels and irridescient ribbon to convey the "magic". I made the wand with my Cricut and the Cinderella cartridge.

Love the fairy godmother page. The pictures of the castle are really nice.

What does the text say. It looks like a long story.

My text is about how the Fairy Godmother had the big responsibility of granting Cinderella's holiday wish to decorate the castle. I told a little about the ceremony they held each evening and how beautiful the castle looked. That was one of the highlights of our December trip for me.

Karen, love the ribbon and sparkle on the pages. Aren't sprarley things fun? Your pictures of the castle are beautiful.

Shell, the paper you used on the water pages is very cool. Are the waves printed on the paper or are they embossed? Those letters are very cool and add to the water feel of the pages.

Marcie, great photo and I love that huge snowflake!

Dawn, love the buttons and the torn edges of the paper. Blue and white was a perfect color choice for your pictures. They really pop on the pages. Makes me wish I was there right now.

Great job everyone!
