| I got to spend the afternoon scrapping and worked on a few pages of a mini book I am (finally) doing of DD's first trip to BBB back in the fall of '06. ![]() The tag has sticker letters, ribbon, a cut out of a paper flower, glitter, stickey gems and a Tink paper clip on it.

| Great page. I am trying to get in the habit of using things other than stickers. At a garage sale I picked up a bag of ribbons but not as yet used any of them. I guess I am not sure of my ability to make the page look 1/2 way presentable. I am getting in to the digital thing everyone is talking and am having a blast. I am still going to have to do the traditional because of the money invested there. |

| Here are my layouts for the March challenge. Thanks Marcie for making this one to use tags! I've been slowly working on a book from our December trip and I had made autograph tags for the characters to sign with the hopes of incorporating them into my scrapbook. I've been trying to make my book interactive so the tags have been designed to pull out and my journalling is underneath. ![]() This page is from my visit to AK where I met Mickey and Minnie on the character trail near the Festival of the Lion King show. Both the Mickey tag (top left corner) and the Minnie tag (bottom right corner) pull out to see the journalling. ![]() My Donald page is about all the places we came across Donald this visit. The Donald tag on the left page is secured with a disney paper clip and pulls out to show the journal box. I made more tags to give to my niece and nephew for their trip this past week. Their Dad called to say that all the characters loved their specialized tags and that the kids were excited to use them along with their regular autograph book. I'll try to post a picture of them soon. I used my Cricut to make alot of the characters and names for the tags.

| Great pages, Karen. Those are really beautiful. I love what you did with the tags and how they hide the journaling. You put a ton of work into these pages! And I love the little Donald tangled up in the lights. Looks like me when I try to pull the Christmas lights out.

| ColleenG - For these layouts, I only used my Mickey Fonts cartridge for the "D" in Ducky. The other letters were from a sticker sheet of glitter letters. I didn't have a "D" so I cut that one out and glittered it up. For the tags I made for my neice and nephew, I used the Mickey and Friends and the Fonts cartridges to make Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy and Pluto and their names. For some reason, I can't get that picture to load properly so I don't have a way to post a pic of them. I didn't know that there is a Pooh cartridge to come out - I can't wait! Thanks for the info! I'd like to make new tags for my next trip in October and figure out a way to have a book made out of just the tags. Any suggestions anyone?

Do you use the tags for and autograph book? What a great idea! What if you fastened them together with a brad so they fan out? Or do you put the tags on individual pages? Sounds like a really cute idea. Last edited by ColleenG : 03-07-2008 at 11:22 PM. | |

| Here's my home made tags: ![]() These are old beach pictures - 1992! I don't have many pages handwritten because I hate to see my handwriting. This was their first trip to the ocean, and all he could say while watching the waves was "Here comes another one!", so that's what's on one of the tags.
