| On our last trip, our first meal was Le Cellier; we're going again this month, but I won't be able to put together a page until after the challenge is over. I really love the idea, though, thanks!

| Oh, dear....our family is really not all that "traditional" in that we really don't have any hard and fast rules about "we do this on this day/trip/fill in the blank". I'll have to see what I can come up with that's non-traditonally traditional... |

| Sounds like it doesn't have to be Disney or trip related, is that right Marcie? Like maybe putting up the Christmas tree every year, or Easter egg hunts?

| Kiara's birthday party has always been filled with tradition. We always have a small party at our house with only family and close friends. Her party always has a theme that she picks out each year. This year, she wanted a Hello Kitty theme. She was so excited about her birthday party this year, she didn't sleep at ALL the night before. She busted into our bedroom the morning of the party at 7:30 AM and said "Mom, get up! You have to work on my party!" ![]() Everything was going well and I was ahead of schedule, thanks to my early start, but a few hours before our guests arrived she got sick. I thought it was just from being over excited about the party, but it turned out, she had a bad bug. The day that she had been so excited about turned out to be rather horrible for her. One minute she was fine, the next she was in bad shape. I know this seems like TMI, but I wanted to explain why in the first layout she looks fine and in the next one she looks awful. So, I did these layouts about all the things that have become tradition for Kiara's birthday parties and how I hope being sick at her party does not become one of them! ![]() My poor baby looks so sick in the picture in the second layout. And she was! It took everything she had to blow out her candles. But, no matter how bad she felt, she wasn't about to miss out on the tradition of blowing out her candles. I tried to keep these layouts simple (notice there is not one ribbon on either of them ) but I did scan one of the napkins from Kiara's party, altered the colors and printed it out on cardstock to use on the second page.

| Great layouts Nala! and these are so different from your normal style! The colors are very pretty and I like your cricut letters! The jewels are a very cool touch to tie your title together! Poor Kiara - so not fun to be sick for her birthday! Hopefully her next birthday will be much better!

| Gee this month has sure flown by! I finally got to work on my "traditions" page today. This is about how we always go to MGM Studios (sorry - Hollywood Studios!) first and then ride TOT and RNRC right away. For the RNRC part of the page, I used the border set that Shell of the South made last year for that border swap that we did of Disney rides. Thanks Michelle - I love it! Now I'm anxious to use some of the others too! Anyway - here's the layout: ![]()

| Great layouts! I loved Shell's border set when I saw pictures of it and it is great to see it used in a layout! Your background paper is PERFECT with the border set and your pictures! Love your title work on the TOT page and how you got five pictures AND journaling on one page! Great work.

| I think you did great Karen - I'm proud to see one of my borders being put to use! I love the first page, nice pics! This is the closest thing to tradition pages I've done - prom pictures. I think it's a tradition to take tons of pics! Some pics are duplicated because I did pages for each child's book: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
